Ch@t is a messaging app designed to be transparent in regards to its privacy policy. It has two modes the user can choose from, depending on how much their data they are willing to put out into the web. A window pops-up every time the user switches mode and lets them know how much they are sharing. It is designed to be user friendly and clear about all technical information.
